So, after the excitement during, and directly following, Steve jobs’ announcement at Macworld ‘08 about the new MacBook Air, I and everyone else in the world had time to digest the news and sit on it a little. There were an increased number of tweets as the day and night went on about the dissapointments in the MacBook Air; no cd drive, same battery problems as the ipod, Apple focused on the thinness and not the size issue- people wanted to see a shrunken version of their MacBook instead of a thinned down version- and the price was way too high. With the expectation of a smaller Mac, people expected a smaller price too…more along the lines of iPod to the Mini or Shuffle, and Apple didn’t deliver.

But, with that being said, there is more and more buzz about the new Apple tv. Maybe this time around they got it right with the HD movie rentals? Time will tell all…
